Cafebabel.com including Budapest office is a Golden Star!

On the 13th November 2008 a Golden Stars
award ceremony took place in Brussels in
the presence of Ján Figel.
The European Commission awarded 12
projects, which belonged to the three
actions of the Europe for citizens program,
ie. Town twinning, Civil society and Remembrance.
Cafebabel.com including our Budapest office was one of the winner projects, selected from hundreds of applicants! We were awarded with our “EU Reporter” project, which were actually the Europe on the Ground series of the past months.
It is a great honor for all of us babelians, and acknowledgment of our work. The speakers and participants were highly appreciated from the winners “important work in promoting Active European Citizenship at local, regional, national or European level, using innovative methods and/or producing tangible results in terms of civic participation. “ So guys, keep up with the excellent job we did in the past!
You can check out some more pictures of the fascinating organized ceremony here.
